Description of the tour
This viewing-point was used by Alejandro Selkirk, a Scottish sailor who auto-exiled himself in the island and remained in it for more than 4 years, his interesting story was an inspiration of Daniel Defoe's known novel 'Robinson Crusoe's incredible adventures’. The path of native flora takes you to a strategic point where it is possible to have a panoramic sight of both sides of the island. On the way we also meet two important icons “piedras pintadas” and the stone cabin where this seaworthy was sheltering. From the viewing-point a small downhill through the native forest we will encounter chontas, pangue and cinnamon-tree.

Recommendations: Trekking clothes, canes and shoes, a bottle of water, camera, do not throw garbage, be careful of gullies, maintain a reasonable distance to the crags, strong winds gusts, slippery when is rainy, watch your step when walking through the path and follow the instructions of the guide.
